&&. hot chocolate

A rather interesting event happened today. It involved an awesome fork trident of peas, one cup of hot chocolate, and a very hyperactive and easily pleased friend. So basically I showed the fork of peas to the Jessie unnamed friend who was standing behind me, and she semi-jumped up with joy. Of course, she was holding the cup of hot chocolate, and unfortunately, it spilt onto me.

Half of my hair got soaked, while some blotches got onto my blouse, a big splash on my scarf, and a long trickle of hot chocolate onto my English book & laptop cover. Everyone was stoned for a couple of second, before Natalie was rushing for tissue and Jessie the unnamed friend started to apologise profusely.

Also, if Jessie the unnamed person is reading this post ( which is highly possible ), and still feel guilty about the incident, let me say this. My hair smelt of yummy hot chocolate for two hours, and I now know that awesomeness is always in danger within proximity of you and your hot chocolate :D

&&. winter

The cold + rain = winter / very angry Amanda.

I hate the cold. It's on my list of "Top Ten Pet Peeves" - ranked somewhere in between poor grammar and telemarketers. If winter was materialised into a living being, I would find a hundred way to torture it without the result of death. Winter needs to suffer endless hours of agony. People are forced to wear extra layers of clothing, have to turn on their heaters to stay warm, or they can choose the option of freezing their ass off and get sick.

Of course, seeing that my body figure is quite skinny, I get sick very often due to the lack of fat for insulation :( I also have poor blood circulation, so my hands will always get freezing cold within one minute exposure to the outside air. Even if I'm wearing thick gloves, using heating pads, or next to a heater, my hands would always refuse to stay warm. Or maybe I'm secretly cold-blooded, like I always hypothesised.

And then there's rain. The sky is always so gloomy and gray. WE NEED SOME SUNSHINE, BABY ! Whenever it is cloudy, it always seems as though my energy is sucked away from my soul D: I have no motivation to do any work, and I have the tendency to complain and whine a lot ( Catherine being the victim to my ranting ).

There's also that wet and clammy feeling you get, as though the rain had seeped into the buildings, making me give involuntary shudders. And everyone knows that rain is created through the evaporation of water. That means that the rain could be urine from a hobo ! Or urine from the sewage systems ! Or urine from lazy people in outdoor pools ! Or urine from any other places where there is sunlight ! Yes - I'm using urine a lot to make you hate rain as well >:D

This is the end to my ranting, before I get some winter and / or rain lovers complaining = 3=;;

&&. volunteering

At the beginning of this term, Monica (a friend) and I do volunteering at the Salvation Army store in Lakemba on Wednesday afternoons, instead of doing sport. This week however, all volunteers from our school did the The Salvation Army's Red Shield Appeal, where we go to people's doors and ask for donations.

It all just so happened to be very cloudy, with weather warnings alerting us about severe winds. So we trudged on from house to house, fighting like brave army soldiers against the wind. Of course, this makes many people pity us ;) We successfully collected $30.40, which is a cause for celebrations ! Yaaaaaaaaaay ♥

But it seems that I have some bad luck with animals. Two furry cats will not stop staring at us, a small fat dog seems to enjoy sneaking up from behind me, and a vicious snarling greyhound scared the shit out of my soul.

In the end, we recieved a certificate for our work, many thank you's, a free Big Mac voucher, and very tired legs. All of us took a group photo, which I will post up once when I get my hands on it. I enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling at the thought that I helped someone's life through this act ♥

&&. jessie

Yes Jessie, I always try to be this awesome >B)

Don't worry, despite your claims of owning a messy blog, I love it anyway, no matter what. Everyone has their own preferences and style, and your's all just so happens to be more carefree and a tad bit scattered. And plus, your skin clearly reflects on the joys you hold in life, and it's super fun clicking on all the sections really quickly ♥

You should be very proud, since i'm dedicating this entire post to you as well ;D

&&. bus drivers

So I normally take the bus home after school, and today was no exception. It was raining quite heavily, and as I raced down to the 109 bus, there was a mob of students who were cussing like sailors. After I joined in the mob, I realised that all the traffic was caused by this ONE girl, who didn't bring her bus pass, and refused to pay the money.

So we were all stuck, standing out in the rain for 5 hours (translation - 2 minutes), showed off a fine example of the Generation Z's colourful language, gave plenty of death threats, until we finally got on the bus. I ended up soaking wet with sticky clothing, damp hair, and a very VERY bad temper.

The only thing that made me happy was a warm shower, hot chocolate, and yummy cup noodles ♥ Anyhow, the moral of the story is that all some bus drivers suck >:(

&&. dreams

I had an odd dream last night.

I was in an old European like train station (Kings Cross - Harry Potter?). The train station was sheltered with a very high ceiling, and blurred windows that was covered by cross hatching wires. I walked past a large clock with roman numerals for numbers, that was connected to a dark green pole. I reached the platforms, that had many silver, vintage like trains lined up. At this point, my memory was fogged up. Then, I remember that for some reason, I was leaping from the top of trains, again and again. It felt like I being in , and I do recall holding onto a a bag of sorts. After this, my Dad woke me up to go to my piano lesson, and the dream ended.

This is like the first time that I had such a detailed dream that I could remember . . .

&&. revamp

This blog has been left here for about a year or so, and accumulated too much dust for my liking. So, it has been decided that I shall use this bog again !

I deleted all posts from last year, in order to start fresh and new :) The entire blog has been updated, from the name to the picture, to the interests and to the template.

Well, until next time ♥
