&&. favourites - tagged my michelle q

HUR HUR !

So Michelle Q tagged me to do this Favourites List thingy-ma-bob :L I'm only doing one favourite thing for each category because I'm not bothered to find the second one ♥

SONGS:

'Over The Rainbow' by Mr. Shu and Puck = EPIC WIN.

Though I haven't even watched a single episode of Glee, I must say that this song is an awesome way to end a season :D It's super sweet and cute, and makes me smile no matter what :) I giggled with the lemon drops part, because I immediately thought of a Harry Potter reference.

BOOK:

It's obvious that my favourite is the Harry Potter book series. More specifically, I would say the Order of Phoenix, though killing of Sirius Black made me cry no matter how many times I read it.

I chose Order of Phoenix because it finally shows how utterly idiotic and incredibly stupid the Wizarding World is. I can go on ranting about how they first lionized Harry as if he was a God, and then instantly betray him and constantly ridicule him based on the words of a demented sensationalist. Then I can go on ranting about how Dumbledore is a senile fool who deserves a painful death for being a manipulative freak who treats Harry like a chess piece.

Yeah, it's a really bad reason to like a book >^>;;

MOVIE / VIDEO:

No, it isn't the Harry Potter movies because the directors left out a lot of the key scenes from the books. I'm still angry over what they did to the last movie. So much changes that ended up ruining the an entire epic battle scene.

Anyhow, instead, my favourite video is ' LITERAL Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Trailer ' by Tobuscus from Youtube :)

Hilarious lyrics that makes me giggle, and it's on a Harry Potter movie ! What more can I say ? And just so you know, I memorised all the lyrics to it :D Goes to show how bothered I am.

FASHION:

I am definitely not a fashion person, so I don't have any specific likes or style. But I buy a lot of Korean made clothes nowadays, because they're so cute and comfortable because it's always made of 100% cotton :D

OH ! And yesterday I bought two Harry Potter shirts from Jay Jays, and they're so friggin AWESOME ! I hung them out to admire, and continuously sighed and did small happy dances whenever I look at them. Both cost me $20 each, and it's so worth it ♥ Such a great accomplishment :)

Got the Stupefy shirt in XS because I'm so darn skinny D: And I also got the black Slytherin shirt in XXS because it's actually a guy shirt :) Slytherins are awesome sauce ♥

BEAUTY:

Uh, I am not a make up person as well :L

BUT ! I bought some BYS nail polish from Gloss, so that kind of counts. Got the dark green and silver metallic ones. And you know what also has a green and silver colours scheme ?

That's right - SLYTHERINS !

Bought them just so that I can promote the awesomeness of Slytherins. My school uniform is also green, so it won't be a problem when the teachers ask about them :) I bought them when I went out with Natalie to watch the final movie of Harry Potter.

Well, that concludes this post. Oddly enough, everything in each category is somehow directly or indirectly related to Harry Potter . . .

AH WELL!

I now tag Caitlin, Jessie, Michelle, Stella, Monica, Kartin, and whoever else is reading this post :)

&&. dreams II

I had another weird dream last night D:

In my dream, I miraculously owned two dogs. One of which was a white maltese dog, and the other was a brown toy poodle. I think the two of them have some sort of resemblance with
Caitlin's and Michelle's dogs :/ Oh, and warning to Caitlin, the next paragraph involves the gruesome death of the dog that looked like Cody :L

Anyhow, the maltese dog was playing in the toilet bowl, and accidentally flushed itself down. It someone ended up coming out of the drain in our second bathroom, apparently dead. It had a slightly disfigured face with blue and yellow eyes, and it's tongue flapping out. So seeing that I was somehow responsible to the death of the dog, I cleaned out the white fluff in the drain to earse all eviden at the crime scene, and went to bury the dog in my backyard.

At this point, the other dog dissappeared, though I didn't question because I was more worried about my Mum killing me for killing the dog. I don't even know why I'm taking responsibilty for it >^>;; So when I was burying the dog with a shovel I never knew I had, this tiny kid from next door climbed up the fence and was threatening to blackmail me. The kid doesn't even exist in real life. He said that I had to come over to his house, and so I did.

We ended up playing this board game that involved mazes and guiding a metal ball through it. At the end point, you were given one second to remember and recite this quote, but I said it wrong. A huge crab was unleashed upon me and I had my waist snipped in half quite brutally. There were blood and guts coming out, and I was seeing this from third person perspective. Which was quite ironic seeing that I ate crab for dinner today. Then I realised that the quote was set up by the father of the kid, which said something like "I am 5 years old, and mum wife did not cheat on dad." I think the father was in denial and thus forced the child to repeat the quote whenever he played the board game . . .

I know, it's weird.

&&. electronics

Hello, hello ♥

Just yesterday, my Dad came home from swimming and told me that he got me a new phone ! I was like, "WUUUUUT ?! B-but my one still works ! Why would you get me another one ?!". And he was like, "Because you got 9 As and 3 Bs for your report ! Though I prefer you getting all As . . ." and he just gave it to me :D So now, I shall introduce to you Mr. Muggle !

Mr. Muggle was named Mr. Muggle in order to celebrate the recent release of the 8th Harry Potter film: Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallow Part II. As you may or may not know, muggle means a 'non-magical person' and so the name is very fitting for an invention made by these people. I said 'these people' because I still believe that the owl carrying my Hogwarts letter got lost somewhere in the Indian Ocean from it's trip from Europe. I also forgot to mention that Mr. Muggle is also a Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc :)

Anyhow, to continue on with the theme, I shall show you two more of my precious electronic items ! The second one up is PACHIRII, my orange iPod Nano GEN 5. All capitals for the name is indeed necessary, because it is written in my imaginary birth certificate.

PACHIRII came into my life sometime in the middle of last year. She currently holds 310 songs, and is an essential item that I take whenever I go out. We have been though many rough times, but have survived in the end. There was a time when PACHIRII was working normally and shut down suddenly and then refused to turn back on, despite me charging it at the same time. And the other time when I was hanging the washing out, when PACHIRII fell out of my pocket, and took a bad crash onto the concrete paving.

Moving on, we now have my pink Nintendo DS, Miss Rose. I have an annoying habit with giving genders to things. And I blame the Little Miss and Mr Men show :/

I bought Miss Rose from this building full of electronics and radioactivity in Guang Zhou, China. Instead of buying games, my Dad bought this substitute chip, where you can download games from this illegal website, that also contains cheat codes :D I got x999 rare candies, masterballs and leftovers in Pokemon Pearl & Diamonds. Sadly that website had been taken down, and so I'm out of date with the games :L

This concludes my post of my very much loved electronics ♥

&&. movies

HERP DERP !

So far during the holidays, I have crossed off two movies from my 'To Watch' list :D Mr. Popper Penguins and Kung Fu Panda 2 most certainly get my thumbs up, because they seriously make me crack up laughing ♥ Kung Fu Panda 2 gets and extra thumbs up because of the 3Dness and constant jokes of awesomeness.

The only movie left for me is . . . HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2 !

Seeing that my parents wouldn't let me go to the cinemas at 12am, I compensated by buying a shiny new POSTER * Q*

That's right - BE JEALOUS *INSERT EBIL LAUGHTER AT AROUND THIS POINT*

I think I'm using capslock too much :/

&&. lazy

So.

I have last posted on the 28th of June.

Which was 11 days ago.

Despite it being the holidays ( another belated announcement since it started 7 days ago ), I have an excuse ! You see, I currently suffering from a disastrous and contagious syndrome called 'laziness'. Oh the HORROR !

These days, I would normally sleep at 12am/1am, and wake up at 2pm. I value my sleep quite a lot, thank you very much. The only exception is when I have piano classes or commitments with friends. See how much I do for you guys ?! My Mum always says it is a wonder why I don't have any back pains from sleeping so much. I respond with " It's a secret ♥ ", because even I don't know > ^>;;

I'm also procrastinating like hell. The 1OO drawings that I promised for my Personal Interest Project for my Gifted & Talented class has been put on hold since the 13th drawing. And I'm not bothered to continue it. Maybe never later. I also promised myself to write a Harry Potter fanfiction to celebrate the last movie coming out. That has also been put on hold since my fingers are so darn numb and so I can't type too much.

Though this post has proper grammar and spelling, it took me more than 1O minutes having to edit it from all the mistakes that I made @3@;; I kid you not, I can't even play a song on the piano without having to stuff up ! Curses to you Winter !

And to Michelle Q. if you are reading this: You are a truly honourable person, for trying to post at least once a day. I am currently wiping tears of joy and great proudness for you :')

&&. sick

That's right. I'm sick.

I am currently suffering from a half blocked and runny nose, dry itchy throat and massive coughing fits that lead me to nearly vomitting. It happened in the morning last Thrusday, the day of my Chinese excursion. Of course, eating yummy mango snow-ice is a bad idea, and eating lychee snow-ice again the day after that is even a worse idea. But it was worth it.

Instead, I'll make the best of my condition by spreading my germs tomorrow at school - that is, IF I do go - and stand REALLY close to you, maybe deliberately coughing and sneezing on you as well. Then, everyone will understand my PAINNNNN and get sick as well !

MWAHAHAHAHAHAH - *hack cough cough cough*

Dammit.

&&. wednesday

Today I went to the Salvation Army store as usual for volunteering, and while I was in the toilet to get tissue paper for Monica to wipe her hands, I saw something horrific D: There was this squashed lizard with blood a - a - and this yellow gooey thing leaking out and splattered on the floor. I hope you're eating something right now, because ruining your appetite makes me smile :) Anyhow, I said "HO - SHIT !" and shuddering as I picked up the lizard, and flushed it down the toilet. To be on the safe side, I saluted the poor thing while singing a terrible parody of the Anzac song - just in case it decides to haunt me or something = 3=;;

Wait, did I even step on it? Find out in the next episode words . . . Not sure :/

Another thing that happened today is that I spottoed a grand total of 14 yellow cars. Yes, I am very proud of myself ! For those who don't know what spotto is, it's a game that Natalie introduced to me , where the objective is to spot a yellow car, and punch the person who is also playing the game. Sadly, Monica rejected my offer in the game because she knows my awesomeness will obviously pwn hers, so I couldn't punch anyone :(

After we finished our volunteering hours, I got some delicous yummy chicken kebab that I was craving for since lunch time. This relates to my next story that happened 10 minutes ago. The kebab was pretty big, so I was only able to finish half of it before Monica got on her bus. So when I microwaved it to eat again, when suddenly there were orange flashes and spark sounds coming from my mircowave.

I thought for a second that I would be transported into the future, but then my dad popped my Bubble Of Hope by suddenly started shouting at me. He stopped the microwave, and took out my kebab which was on flames that this point. After putting out the fire, he started lecturing on me about the stupidity of microwaving something with foil wrapped around it. In my defense, I was never taught that, so technically it was his fault for not teaching me.

I really did wish that I would be transported in time :(

Or at least to another dimension where there were flying sheeps or something . . .

&&. goodnight

LE GASP :O

No posts over the week !? Yeah yeah, I was being a lazy bum and forgot about my blog . . . but hey ! It's not my fault ( kinda. maybe. not really. ). Anyhow, this post shall be a tale of my childhood full of sweet fluffy marshmallow and raining candy - seeing that you can't hear my voice, you won't be able to notice the sarcasm literally dripping from those words.

When I was young, I used to share the same room with my brother. And at night, simply saying goodnight will not do for his mentally incapacitated organism that he claims to be his brain. Oh no it won't. So we have this evening ritual for saying goodnights. Normally, I would have to say something like this: "Goodnight Gary Li, fullstop exclamation mark comma apostrophe question mark colon bracket comma fullstop exclamation mark.", and he will respond with the same thing except using my name.

Not only that, if I get it wrong, I'd have to repeat it again 10 times without stopping. It may sound easy, but with my terrible memory, it was like fighting a war armed with nothing but a sheep - a useless dead sheep. To make it worse, my brother changes it every day, so my mind gets fucked up quite easily. Oh yeah, I said the naughty word B)

Moral to this story is that saying goodnights with punctuation marks is stupid.

&&. winter

The cold + rain = winter / very angry Amanda.

I hate the cold. It's on my list of "Top Ten Pet Peeves" - ranked somewhere in between poor grammar and telemarketers. If winter was materialised into a living being, I would find a hundred way to torture it without the result of death. Winter needs to suffer endless hours of agony. People are forced to wear extra layers of clothing, have to turn on their heaters to stay warm, or they can choose the option of freezing their ass off and get sick.

Of course, seeing that my body figure is quite skinny, I get sick very often due to the lack of fat for insulation :( I also have poor blood circulation, so my hands will always get freezing cold within one minute exposure to the outside air. Even if I'm wearing thick gloves, using heating pads, or next to a heater, my hands would always refuse to stay warm. Or maybe I'm secretly cold-blooded, like I always hypothesised.

And then there's rain. The sky is always so gloomy and gray. WE NEED SOME SUNSHINE, BABY ! Whenever it is cloudy, it always seems as though my energy is sucked away from my soul D: I have no motivation to do any work, and I have the tendency to complain and whine a lot ( Catherine being the victim to my ranting ).

There's also that wet and clammy feeling you get, as though the rain had seeped into the buildings, making me give involuntary shudders. And everyone knows that rain is created through the evaporation of water. That means that the rain could be urine from a hobo ! Or urine from the sewage systems ! Or urine from lazy people in outdoor pools ! Or urine from any other places where there is sunlight ! Yes - I'm using urine a lot to make you hate rain as well >:D

This is the end to my ranting, before I get some winter and / or rain lovers complaining = 3=;;

&&. dreams

I had an odd dream last night.

I was in an old European like train station (Kings Cross - Harry Potter?). The train station was sheltered with a very high ceiling, and blurred windows that was covered by cross hatching wires. I walked past a large clock with roman numerals for numbers, that was connected to a dark green pole. I reached the platforms, that had many silver, vintage like trains lined up. At this point, my memory was fogged up. Then, I remember that for some reason, I was leaping from the top of trains, again and again. It felt like I being in , and I do recall holding onto a a bag of sorts. After this, my Dad woke me up to go to my piano lesson, and the dream ended.

This is like the first time that I had such a detailed dream that I could remember . . .
